ANTEX Thermal Protection
Description
Workplace Safety
Occupational safety authorities and workplace safety specialists frequently identify uninsulated hot pipework as a safety hazard.
Even at surface temperatures below the legal limits specified in EN 563 and EN 13202, accidental contact can be extremely uncomfortable or even hazardous.
In particular, the metal surfaces of insulated sheet-metal exhaust ducts on industrial ironers present a potential risk. The ANTEX Thermal Protection system provides a simple and effective solution to significantly reduce this hazard.
Simply wrap the insulation around the pipe and secure it using the integrated hook-and-loop (Velcro®-style) fastening.
The result is an effective thermal protection solution that has consistently met the expectations of safety inspectors and occupational health professionals.
In addition to its protective function, it also provides a clean and professional appearance.
ANTEX TM Rail System for TAPESONIC / TAPEMATIC
Description
- The ready-to-install complete kit includes all pre-assembled components and self-locking fasteners.
- This guide rail system makes operating TAPESONIC and TAPEMATIC ironing tape welding machines significantly easier while effectively extending the service life of the equipment.
- Your ironing belt welder is securely stored in the rail system, protected against accidental falls, with the welding pliers and scissors always within easy reach at the point of use. A dedicated holder for a spare battery is also included.
- This practical modular kit, supplied with all required large and small components, is simply mounted onto the ironing belt guide of the flatwork ironer.
- All components are protected with a light grey powder-coated finish for long-lasting durability.
- The system is available from stock for ironing machines with a working width of up to 4.00 m.
- To enable shipment by standard parcel service, the rail is supplied in two sections, each with a maximum length of 2.20 m.
- For the initial installation during normal ironing machine operation, one technician requires:
- A cordless drill with a 10.5 mm drill bit
- 1–3 through-holes per side
- A hacksaw or angle grinder
- Approximately 1.5 hours for installation
- Subsequent installations can be completed even more quickly.
